Bucket List

I have decided to share my Bucket List. Since some of this has been written down in my journal, on sticky notes and napkins before now, and some are already crossed off, I will still share. Now I will have a central location for me. Hopefully I will be marking off as much as I add to it.
In no particular order:

  •  Win someone to God
  • Finish reading all the books that I own
  •  Learn Photoshop
  • Pick one cookbook and make every recipe in it
  • Take a photography class
  • Complete a Project 365 (started, lasted about 3 mos)
  • Watch all of the Godfather movies
  • Learn Power Point
  • Graduate from college
  • Start a blog 
  • Be featured on someone else's blog
  • Have 500 friends on facebook, and personally know them all
  • Get published, either a book or article in something "valid"
  • Go to NYC
  • See a broadway show
  • Design my own perfume
  • Own a car other than a mommy van again (got a new-to-me Cadillac for my bday!! NO PMTS EITHER!!)
  • See the Pacific Ocean
  • Go to Disney World
  • Get a stamp in a passport
  • Catch a halibut on an Alaskan cruise
  • Fly over Vegas in a helicopter
  • See the Grand Canyon
  • Name a Crayola crayon color
  • Lose two dress sizes
  • Go to Zumba
  • Have every bedroom clean at once, including kids!
  • Learn to swim
  • Go camping in a tent
  • Learn to fly fish
  • Go to a shooting range
  • Learn archery
  • Have Lasik
  • Connect with an old friend
  • Participate in a benefit walk
  • Throw something on a pottery wheel
  • Learn to quilt
  • Knit something
  • Be completely debt free, including mortgage
  • Be fluent in a foreign language
  • Be in the delivery room, but not as the one giving birth!
  • Learn to sew
  • Make a sugar sculpture
  • Master gum paste flowers
  • Sell a large wedding cake (at least 5 or 6 tiers)
  • Learn to can jellies and veggies
  • Build a compost pile
  • Make a raised garden
  • Landscape my own yard
  • Have a herb garden
  • Have a Christmas tree in every room
  • Jet ski in Hawaii
  • Redo my wedding album into a scrapbook
  • Watch the entire series of Anne of Green Gables (Avonlea, etc.) with my kids
  • Shop in Mall of America
  • Walk down Navy Pier in Chicago again
  • Send out only homemade Christmas cards
  • Read the whole Bible thru in a year
  • Go to an art museum or go to an art festival
  • Go on a cruise
  • Pay for a stranger's meal (while in a restaurant)
  • Stay overnight in a Bed and Breakfast
  • Go four wheeling ATV
  • Go to a book signing 
  • Attend a Mystery Dinner 
  • Visit a comedy club
  • Shop at the 100 Mile Yard Sale
  • Stay at a Ritz Carlton
  • Make plaster handprints or footprints at the beach
  • Learn and be able to identify two new constellations (NOT the Dippers)
  • Splash in puddles while wearing rain boots
  • Make homemade pasta
  • Donate blood (finally no longer anemic but still have these impossible small veins!!)
  • Eat at a restaurant featured on Man Vs. Food
  • Visit Buddy the Cake Boss in his bakery
  • Win a cake decorating competition
  • Attend a blogging convention
  • Speak at something again...must have at least 50 attendees to count
  • make Scottish eggs
  • go kayaking
  • Get promoted to Diamond in my biz
  • Celebrate all the Jewish festivals/holidays in the same year (I'm not Jewish but think this would be good knowledge just as a Christian)
  • Have a midnight picnic on the beach
  • Fall asleep watching stars in the bed of a truck
  • Ride a horse on the Greenway Trails
  • Make lettuce wraps at home
  • Ride a scooter in a foreign country
  • Swing on a tire swing
  • Buy something from a street vendor (preferably a purse or watch in NYC or even a hot dog in NYC or Chicago...maybe Miami. I stand a better chance there)
  • Be picked as a volunteer at a comedy club
  • Attend Symphony Under the Stars
  • Try a new exotic fruit or veggie
